We’re on a mission to grow Sömn into a household name, and we're looking for a Creative Content Marketer to join our team—someone who thrives on storytelling, understands the power of visuals, and has a strategic mindset for digital growth. This role blends content creation, social media marketing, influencer partnerships, webstore management, advertising collaboration, and market analysis to enhance our brand presence and drive engagement.
What You’ll Do
Creative Content Creation
- Create scroll-stopping photo and video content for Instagram, Threads, Pinterest, and other emerging platforms.
- Lead content ideation and execution across social media channels, weaving Sömn’s story into every post and campaign.
- Capture and edit visuals that reflect Sömn’s aesthetic, connecting with audiences through authenticity and creativity.
- Stay ahead of social media trends, experimenting with new formats and strategies to engage and grow our audience.
- Assist in producing marketing materials and print productions to support campaigns and brand storytelling.
Influencer Partnerships & Brand Collaborations
- Build and nurture relationships with influencers, ambassadors, and like-minded brands who align with Sömn’s mission and values.
- Strategize and execute influencer campaigns that showcase Sömn’s products and resonate with their audiences.
- Collaborate with partners on co-branded campaigns, giveaways, and initiatives that elevate brand awareness.
- Track and evaluate the impact of collaborations, ensuring measurable outcomes and long-term relationships.
Email Marketing & CRM
- Develop and execute email marketing campaigns that resonate with our audience, drive sales, and foster loyalty.
- Work with CRM tools like Klaviyo to manage and segment customer data, personalizing content to enhance the customer journey.
- Optimize email performance by tracking open rates, click-through rates, and conversions to refine strategies.
SEO & Community Engagement
- Write bi-weekly blog posts to enhance SEO, engage the community, and educate customers on sustainability, sleep wellness, and home aesthetics.
- Optimize blog content for search visibility, ensuring relevant keywords and topics align with audience interests.
Market Analysis & Competitive Strategy
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer insights, and opportunities in the home and lifestyle industry.
- Analyze competitor positioning and marketing strategies to refine Sömn’s approach and maintain a competitive edge.
- Create and maintain a competition map, tracking key players, pricing, and product differentiation to inform decision-making.
Advertising & Growth Strategies
- Collaborate with external teams on all advertising efforts, including paid media, influencer sponsorships, and digital campaigns.
- Assist in executing loyalty and referral programs to increase customer retention and lifetime value.
- Support PR efforts, including creating press kits and materials that showcase Sömn’s story and products.
- Experiment with innovative growth strategies to elevate Sömn’s presence in the DTC space.
Performance Analysis & Optimization
- Track content performance across social media, email, and blog channels, using insights to guide future campaigns.
- Leverage tools like Shopify Analytics and Google Analytics to monitor growth metrics and refine strategies for maximum impact.
Webstore & Digital Optimization
- Create web content, including product and lifestyle videos and images, to enhance product pages.
- Partner with the team to ensure website content (landing pages, product descriptions, CTAs) is engaging, optimized, and aligned with our brand voice.
- Maintain and update product listings, descriptions, and imagery to reflect inventory changes and seasonal trends.
- Ensure website visuals and messaging are cohesive and support conversion optimization strategies.
- Assist in monitoring website analytics and A/B testing to refine content and marketing strategies.
Other Responsibilities
- Help out with any related job responsibilities that contribute to the overall growth of this role and the company.
- Stay adaptable and proactive in a fast-paced environment, contributing creative solutions and fresh ideas.
Who You Are
- A creative storyteller with a strong portfolio showcasing digital content, photography, and/or video production.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) or similar tools for content creation.
- Experience managing social media platforms, influencer partnerships, and email marketing in a brand setting.
- Comfortable with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms, with an eye for UX/UI and product presentation.
- Skilled in SEO strategy and blog writing, with a passion for community engagement.
- Analytical mindset with experience in market research and competitive analysis.
- A data-driven marketer who enjoys analyzing performance metrics and optimizing for results.
- Passionate about sustainability, quality craftsmanship, and storytelling in the home and lifestyle space.
