The Asobi Towel Collection is the result of 10 months of refinement, testing, and collaboration with our committed Japanese partners.
At its core, it brings together two worlds:
On one side, the exceptional craftsmanship of Japanese towel-making—particularly inspired by the performance standards found in Imabari, known for towels that are highly absorbent, lightweight, quick-drying and incredibly soft from first use.
On the other, the needs of a North American lifestyle—where towels are often expected to be larger, denser, durable and more enveloping, with rich, warming tones that feel at home in everyday interiors.
The result is a soft cotton towel that doesn’t ask you to adjust your life around it. It simply fits into it.
