Crafted from pure, clean cotton, grown without toxic synthetic fertilizers and pesticides, every piece is exclusively manufactured by our European partners in a plant that leans on environmentally friendly processes. Obtaining Oeko-Tex was essential to our process. As an independent third-party manufacturing check around methods like dye and finishing, certification means products are natural, non-toxic, and safe for human use. We felt compelled to provide this extra layer of assurance to discerning clients on the hunt for ethical sleepwear produced with more conscience than chemicals. 

For our material of choice, we decided on Portuguese spun gauze cotton. Touchable with a light-as-air feel, this material breathes and is as strong as it is soft, thanks to an intricate spinning technique that involves twisting horizontal warp threads around vertical weft threads. The result is a softly crinkled, loosely woven fabric with just the right amount of stretch. Combined with heirloom quality sewing, every last detail is designed to deliver maximum enjoyment and relaxation every time you pull it on.

We launched our capsule collection in two figure-flattering styles. The Gauze Cotton Nightshirt features a dropped shoulder, long sleeves, and a split hem. Tailored and relaxed, it can be sized up for greater comfort. People who prefer more coverage will love our classic two-piece Gauze Cotton Pyjamas Set. The casual long-sleeved top complements a roomy and generously cut bottom with an elasticated drawstring waist and side pockets. Both styles come in two naturally stylish palettes—Cosmos White or Tahini.

Sömn's eco-friendly sleepwear was inspired by our belief that it's possible to be completely comfortable without cost to the environment.
