  • What makes linen?

    Linen is made from flax, which is a rare product that represents less than 1% of all textile fibres consumed worldwide.

    The English word "flax" has been purposefully chosen. It translates the notion of the "linen fibre", and is more appropriate than the generic word "linen" whose definitions take in the thread, linen textiles, and homeware textiles.

  • Where is your linen sourced?

    With a goal to provide the highest quality in sourcing, our yarns are spun in one of the oldest flax mills in Europe and dyed before woven into fabrics. Meaning the fabrics are made in a way that it is long lasting with a more desirable finish.

    The production process consists of six main stages: yarn spinning, weaving, designing, dyeing, finishing, and sewing. Having all these stages completed under one roof allows us to control the quality of our products.

  • How can I be sure of the size and fit of your sheets and duvet covers?

    Want to know if the sizes fit? Send us your duvet and/or mattress measurements to and we can make sure you find the right fit for your bed.

  • Do you offer fabric swatches?

    Order our linen fabric swatches so you can easily match your colours at home, wash it to test it out and feel the quality without any pressure to buy.

  • How should I care for linen bedding?

    Hand or machine was under 30ºC / 86ºF on a gentle cycle with similar colours using mild detergent. We recommend removing linen from the dryer while still slightly damp to air dry until it completely dries.

    If you feel the need to iron, use a low setting. Do not dry clean, tumble dry on high heat, wring out, or use bleach. This will damage and shorten the life span of linen.

  • Where do you ship to?

    We ship across Canada, the USA, and Internationally.

  • How can I track my order?

    All orders are sent with tracking information and a signature is required upon delivery. Customer will receive an auto-email with the tracking information.

  • How long will my product take to arrive?

    Orders will be shipped using Canada Post or a courier company of our choice using a 5-7 business day service.

    Sömn is not responsible for any customs, duties or brokerage fees that may incur while exporting goods into your country of residence.

  • I haven't received my order. What happens now?

    We start an investigation into the disappearance of the packing and will keep you updated every step of the way.

  • What is your return policy?

    Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

    To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

    If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

  • How do I return my product?

    Simply contact us at within 30 days of the delivery date and we'll assist you with the process.

  • Do I need to pay the shipping cost when I return my product?

    You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

    If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

  • Do you accept returns on sale items?

    Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.

  • Do you do exchanges on products?

    We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at .

  • What is a Pre-Order or Special Order?

    Both Pre-Order and Special Orders are items that have not yet arrived to us but can be purchased in advance. Once the items arrive, we will ship the Pre-Order/Special Order to you directly.

    Pre-Orders and Special Orders are treated as a final sale, non-refundable, non-exchangeable and non-price matchable once the order has been processed. A 100% deposit is required to initiate an order.
